The Complete Battlefield 6 Beta Guide: All Dates, Challenges, and Exclusive Rewards

The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is live, and it’s your only chance to earn a suite of exclusive cosmetic rewards that will carry over to the full game’s launch on October 10, 2025. But with a complex schedule and a long list of challenges, it can be tough to keep track of it all.
We’ve created the definitive guide, combining all the official information into one place. Here is exactly how to play, and every exclusive reward you can unlock before the beta ends on August 17, 2025.
Part 1: Beta Schedule & Access
The beta is split into two main weekends. The first weekend has an Early Access period, while the second weekend is fully open to all players.

The Official Beta Schedule:
- Early Access Weekend 1: Thursday, Aug 7 – Friday, Aug 8
- Open Beta Weekend 1: Saturday, Aug 9 – Sunday, Aug 10
- Open Beta Weekend 2: Thursday, Aug 14 – Sunday, Aug 17
How to Get Early Access (Aug. 7-8)
Early Access for the first weekend is available for free to players who are members of EA Play Pro, have a Battlefield Labs membership, or get an access code via Twitch Drops (by watching a “Drops Enabled” stream for 30 minutes).
How to Join the Open Beta (Aug. 9-10 & 14-17)
During the Open Beta dates, anyone can join for free. Simply go to the game’s store page on your platform (Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store) and download the “Battlefield 6 Open Beta” client.

Part 2: Exclusive Rewards & Challenges
Weekend 1 Rewards (Available Aug 7-17)
- Lights Out Player Card Background: Reach Level 10.
- Rising Star Character Skin: Reach Level 15.
- Night Terror Weapon Charm: Reach Level 20.
- Striking Distance Weapon Package: Get 50 close-quarter kills (within 10m) as Assault.
- Own the Night Weapon Sticker: Revive 100 teammates as Support.
- After Dark Weapon Sticker: Repair 3,000 health to vehicles as Engineer.
- Seeker Character Skin: Spot 300 enemies as Recon.
Weekend 2 Exclusive Rewards (Available Aug 14-17 Only)
- War Machine Vehicle Skin: Capture 42 flags in Conquest, Domination, or King of the Hill.
- Bat Company Dog Tag: Get 200 total kills or assists.
- Dominion Weapon Package: Capture 15 sectors in Breakthrough or Rush.

Platform & Twitch Exclusives
- Advance Party Soldier Skin (PlayStation Exclusive): Simply play the beta on a PS5 with a linked EA account.
- Twitch Drops: In addition to the Early Access code, you can earn more exclusive cosmetics as your total watch time increases. The rewards are cumulative (Note: Specific cosmetic drops are based on early community data and are subject to change.):
- 1 Hour: Mimic Weapons Package
- 2 Hours: Landslide Soldier Skin
- 3 Hours: Shattered Vehicle Skin
- 4 Hours: Imperial Soldier Skin
Important Note: After you’ve met the watch time requirement, you must go to your Twitch Drops Inventory page on Twitch to claim your rewards. These rewards, especially the beta access code, often expire within 24 hours of earning them, so be sure to claim them immediately!
